During the contest, fourth grade students were asked to design a poster demonstrating their knowledge of topics presented in an educational video produced by the RMLD including electrical safety, how electricity gets to the home and electricity and the environment.

In recognition of the effort local schools put forth in implementing the contest, each participating school was awarded a gift certificate for art supplies.
