THE SAVINGS BANK is a major sponsor of the Shop Local Saturdays sponsored by the Wakefield Lynnfield Chamber of Commerce to promote local businesses and support the local economy. The every-other Saturday program encourages shoppers to visit businesses throughout Wakefield on the following Saturdays: August 28, September 11 and 25, October 9 and 23, November 13 and 27, and December 4 and 18. Every purchase of a product or service of $50 or more made in a Wakefield business on designated Saturdays will entitle the shopper to receive a $10 gift certificate to be used at a participating Wakefield eatery.
