MELROSE — The City of Melrose is sharing the following updates for the upcoming week:
Prescription Drug Take Back on April 26
Saturday, April 26 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, bring your unneeded tablets, capsules, patches, pills and other solid prescription drugs for safe disposal at the Melrose Police station at 56 West Foster St.
City’s 175th birthday party on May 3 at Memorial Hall
On May 1, 1850, Melrose (formerly North Malden) officially incorporated as an independent town. On Saturday, May 3 at 10 a.m., join the community at Memorial Hall, 590 Main St., for a birthday party of historic proportions, featuring a really big cake, volunteer recognitions and more!
