Theresa Anzuoni, 95

Enjoyed cooking, the beach, tennis and trips with family

LYNNFIELD — Theresa C. (Vietri) Anzuoni, age 95, of Wakefield formerly of Lynnfield, Revere and Everett, passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her loving family on July 17. 

She was born in Everett on October 3, 1929 and was the loving daughter of the late Ralph and Elena (DiNapoli) Vietri. Theresa was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School; soon after she attended cosmetology school in Boston which spurred a lifelong passion for hairdressing. In 1956, she married John F. Anzuoni and the two settled in Revere to begin and raise their family. She was known for and will be remembered for her love of her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, playing tennis,  and trips with the family. 

She was the beloved wife of the late John F. Anzuoni, Sr. She was the cherished and loving mother of John Anzuoni, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Lynnfield; Marianne Supino and her husband Michael of Lynnfield; Thomas Anzuoni of Andover; and Paul Anzuoni of Peabody. She was the devoted sister of Joanne Rauseo and her late husband Salvatore of Saugus; Elaine Vietri of Saugus; the late Mary Mavilo and her late husband Joseph of Malden; the late Dora DeGuglielmo and her late husband Carmine of Danvers; and the late Rita Anzuoni; and her surviving husband Richard of Lynnfield. She was the sister-in-law of Marion Shaffer and her late husband Harry of Lynnfield; Lawrence Anzuoni and his surviving wife Jenny of Milton; the late James and Jenny Anzuoni of Revere; George and Barbara Anzuoni of Plymouth; Albert and Cecelia Anzuoni of Hingham; and Rose and Leo Baldini of Lynn. She was the adoring grandmother of John Anzuoni III and his significant other Tana Lee Dimick; Kristin Anzuoni Monzon and her husband Jorge; and Derek Supino. She is also survived by her great granddaughter Kiki as well and many loving nieces and nephews and many close friends. 

Her funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield on Wednesday, July 23. Visitation for relatives and friends was held in the church beginning at 10 a.m., funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment took place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
