A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, the city marked the beginning of Pride Month with a flag raising at City Hall. Mayor Jen Grigoraitis made a few remarks at the ceremony, which included people of all ages. This past Monday, the City Council passed a resolution — sponsored by President Leila Migliorelli and Ward 1’s Manjula Karamcheti — that commits the city to “remain vigilant in deterring oppression and discrimination against people on the basis of sex, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation.” (Photos by Conor Olmstead at cophotos.net)
