MELROSE—The Melrose Middle School wrestling team was crowned Sectional champs on Sunday, Feb. 23.
Six of their wrestlers competed in the 12U Massachusetts East Sectional Tournament and all six the wrestlers placed in the top 3 in their weight classes and, as a result the team took home the trophy as the U12 Massachusetts Eastern Sectional Champions.
They defeated Tewksbury’s youth team, who were 2nd place, by a score of 37 to 36.5. The following is a list of the kids that competed and where they placed.

Harrison Garabedian-3rd 86 lbs (3 wins)

Dev Sullivan-3rd 69 lbs (3 wins)
