MELROSE — The following is list of upcoming events at Melrose Memorial Hall.

Melrose Symphony Orchestra Opening Night Concert: Saturday, November 1, 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Join the Melrose Symphony for a spectacular Opening Night featuring two romantic masterpieces: Dvořák’s vibrant Symphony No. 8 and Brahms’ passionate Double Concerto performed by renowned BSO artists Lucia Lin, violin and Owen Young, cello.

HARVEST Fall Foodie Fundraiser to benefit The Food Drive: Saturday, November 8, 6–9 p.m. The Food Drive will host their fourth annual Harvest Fall Foodie Fundraiser on Saturday, November 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will feature tasting stations from Melrose food establishments Big Fin Poke, Bobby C’s Ristorante, Buckalew’s, The Kitchen, Melrose Farmer’s Market vendor Guru the Caterer, Ocean Sushi, T’ahpas 529 and Turner’s Seafood; dessert from Fabian’s European Pastries and Sweet Spot Bakery; festive autumn cocktails served by local volunteer bartenders; live jazz featuring renowned Berklee bassist and Melrose resident Bruce Gertz and a spirited and unique silent auction and raffle. Tickets are available on The Food Drive’s website at thefooddrive.org. Proceeds from the event will sustain The Food Drive’s hunger relief and food rescue work in Melrose and surrounding cities.

Knights of Columbus Concert Fundraiser, Tom Petty Tribute Band Concert: Friday, November 21, 6–11 p.m. Get ready to rock out with Rebels, The Tom Petty Tribute Band featuring members of Joshua Tree as they play the legendary music of Tom Petty in an epic live performance. Cash bar, concessions and raffles are available onsite. Please visit melrosekofc.org for tickets.

Additionally in November, Memorial Hall will host the weekly Rotary Thursday meetings. Visit melroserotary.org for membership information, weekly Melrose Youth Ballet Nutcracker Show rehearsals, melroseyouthballet.org on Thursday, November 13 the Hispanic Flamenco Ballet from Miami for local school groups and on Wednesday, November 19 the monthly Melrose Veterans Food Mart.
