MELROSE — Volunteers are needed to help run the Melrose Veterans’ Advisory Board’s annual Food Drive at the Melrose Shaw’s Supermarket on Saturday, April 29 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. The goal of the drive is to fill local veterans’ shelves with needed items.

Volunteers are needed to fill the following shifts: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for high school students to gain community service hours! The Food Drive is made possible through a partnership with the Melrose Veterans’ Services Office. All donated food and gift cards will be given to the Servant’s Heart Food Pantry and the Pantry of Hope.
