WINDSOR, CT — Wakefield’s Erin Girotti recently wrapped up her summer club season with the Northeast Hurricanes at Fastpitch Nation in Windsor, Connecticut.

Girotti and the Hurricanes finished the season with a record of 23-12-1, collecting two runners-up medals and a first place finish as a 16U team in the 18U division of the Turn 2 Invitational in Concord, NH.

Girotti, who recently concluded her sophomore season for the Wakefield High softball team, was a key force in the lineup during that championship run as she hit .320 for the tournament and came through with the game-winning single in a hard-fought 9-inning semifinal game.
