INspire ready to serve the community

News 2025
ON SATURDAY INspire Cafe located at 411 Main St. celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a first day open to the public.

WAKEFIELD — The INspire Cafe is open for business!

The cafe located at the corner of Main Street and Richardson Avenue in the Square officially opened its doors and is serving breakfast and lunch from its fresh, handcrafted cafe menu.

Last week, Marie Rey, a board member of Friends of INspire Cafe and a parent of an INspire employee, said, “We are all so excited for INspire Cafe to open in our community. INspire is much more than a coffee shop. It’s a welcoming space for individuals of all abilities to come together and create meaningful, inclusive employment opportunities. INspire Cafe is not only going to positively impact the entire community but will also raise the bar for what a truly inclusive workplace should look like.”

The cafe’s menu will feature a fresh, scratch-made selection of allergy-friendly treats, smoothies, and both grab-and-go and made-to-order meals. With options tailored for restrictive diets and a commitment to community-minded service, INspire Cafe is designed to be a place for everyone.

The INspire team has been working diligently to learn new skills and techniques to prepare for the opening, dedicating the last several weeks to job training in the bright new space. Cafe employees are looking forward to making meaningful connections with cafe customers and the greater community.

“I am most excited about using what I am learning in my college hospitality class to be a great cashier and make customers feel welcome. That is one of my goals for working at INspire,” said Mia, INspire Cafe employee.

The cafe has developed in partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Metro North and partnered with many local businesses to enhance its offerings and menu. These partners include Dean’s Beans Organic Coffee, MEM Tea, Smart Fruit Smoothies, Richies’s Slush, and Omar’s Bistro. Besides enjoying fresh handcrafted lunch and breakfast options, visitors to the cafe can also actively support the INspire mission by joining the ‘INcrowd’ membership or gifting branded merchandise and gift cards.

The grand opening Saturday morning included a ribbon cutting ceremony outside the cafe, attended by members of the Town Council, state Senator Jason Lewis, State Rep. Donald Wong and others.

The daily cafe hours will be published on the INspire website.

Join the INspire team to sip, savor, and support a mission that’s making Wakefield even more vibrant.
