Loved to travel and take cruises
LAS VEGAS, NV — Jeanette (Meuse) Muise, of Wakefield passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2 at the assisted living home where she resided in Las Vegas. She was 94.
Jeanette was born in Wakefield on April 19, 1930, daughter of Frederick and Theresa Meuse. She was raised and educated in Wakefield. She met Angelo Viglione (deceased) from Stoneham.
They were married in 1953 and had three children together. Jeanette held various jobs throughout her working career including many years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’s Department of Corrections. She also worked at the Greenwood Nursing Home and was working as a sales agent for Mary Kay products for many years. In 1994, she married Joseph Muise.
They settled in a Florida retirement community and enjoyed traveling and enjoyed taking many cruises together. Following the passing of her husband, Jeanette spent her remaining years living with her daughter Teresa in Las Vegas. She took several trips back home to visit her sister in Wakefield during those years.
Jeanette was a warm and generous woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She took pride in her wonderful chocolate chip cookies and would ship them next day Air to her loved ones all over the country. She loved spending time with her daughter and granddaughter, enjoying the beauty of Red Rock canyon along with other scenic areas in southern Nevada.
She was one of seven children, four brothers and two sisters. Her only remaining sibling Mary Paiva is a lifelong Wakefield resident. She is also survived by her daughter Teresa Viglione, son Edmund Viglione and granddaughter Danielle Viglione. Her other son Robert had passed away.
The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life for Jeanette on her upcoming birthday.
