WAKEFIELD — In loving memory of Joseph Robert Martin, May 17, 1941 to March 6, 2025, affectionately known by his family and friends as Bob or Bobby.
Bob was born in Medford to Joseph and Margaret (Gallant) Martin, both of Prince Edward Island, Canada. He attended Holy Cross College and Boston University and served proudly in the Peace Corps in Senegal. He was a friend to all who knew him, particularly those on his beloved Beacon Hill.
Bob was the brother of Eileen as well as the late Marilyn (Edward) and Donald. He was the loving uncle of Edward, Stephen, Jill, Jennifer, and Amy, as well as the great uncle of Eddy, Max, Jack, Dylan, Emily and Sam.
