Accomplished cat breeder
WAKEFIELD — Sandra B. Hogan, age 83, of Wakefield passed away on April 13 at her residence. She was born in Harrisburg, PA on November 20, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Bolzer Charles and Verna (Cook) Beahm.
She was raised and educated in Harrisburg, PA and later went on to attend medical secretarial school in MD. She had been a Wakefield resident for 42 years. Sandra was a very accomplished cat breeder. Her Siamese cats were national ranked. Through cat shows, she and her husband enjoyed traveling across the country.
She was the beloved wife of Dennis Hogan, Jr. She was the loving step-mother of Paula Hogan and her husband Timothy Lerch of PA and John Hogan and his wife Emily of Haverhill. She was the grandmother of Joanne Hogan and her husband Kevin Callahan, Erin Hogan, John Hogan Jr. and Noah Hogan. She was the sister-in-law of Mildred Farrell of PA and the late Richard Hogan and Mary Collins. She was the aunt of James Miller and Joanne Metzger, both of PA.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be private.
