Love of her children and family always came first
WAKEFIELD — Shirley Ann Jabor, age 90 of Wakefield, died peacefully on Monday, March 24 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital with her sister Nancy Heselton and her son Bobby’s best friend Rob Murley.
She was born in MelroseWakefield Hospital on January 30,1935 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Santoro) Perillo. Shirley was a lifelong-time resident of Wakefield. You would see her often walk the lake when she lived on Wolcott St. Her love of her children and family always came first. Shirley loved to go to the Casinos with her friends and family.
Shirley worked for many years as an Office Manager in Wakefield then retired and spent her time in Wakefield, a town she loved very much. Her weekly outings with her cousins, visiting her sister and family in NH, visits from her daughter, grandson and his wife to spend time with her making memories were some of her favorites.
She was the loving mother to Leslie A. Jabor of Oceanside, CA; Joseph J. Jabor of Wakefield; and the late Robert J. Jabor Jr. and Michael J. Jabor of Wakefield. Shirley was the sister of Nancy Heselton of Goffstown, NH; Dorothy Linder of New York City; the late Josephine Perillo; and the late Charles, Arthur and Ralph Perillo. Shirley is also survived by her grandson Joshua Earl King of Vista, CA along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, April 3 at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 9 a.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
