Arthur A. Prousalis, 77

Spent his career in appliance repair

WAKEFIELD — Arthur A. Prousalis, 77, of Wakefield, died Thursday, April 14 at the Sunrise Assisted Living in Lynnfield.

Born in Woburn on December 7, 1944 he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Ventura) Prousalis.

Arthur was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He spent his career in appliance repair; first beginning his career at GE where he learned the trade before going off on his own to be the owner operator of the former A.M.R. Appliance of Wakefield.

He was the beloved father of Michael Prousalis and his wife, Shelia O’Toole, of Wakefield and Robert Prousalis and his wife, Sara, of Dracut. He was the beloved companion of the late Linda Hallahan. He was the brother of Diane Uda and her husband, Robert, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was the grandfather of Logan, Conor, Andrew, Kosta, Vanessa, Benjamin and Lucas Prousalis.

Visitation for relatives and friends in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday, April 19 from 5-7 p.m. Followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m.
