WAKEFIELD — The town’s 2025 Veterans Day ceremony will honor Pasquale “Patsy” Zagaria for his “Service to Our Nation” on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in the Galvin Middle School’s Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
Veterans Day is a day set aside to thank and honor all those who served honorably in the military, whether in wartime or in peacetime. The theme for Veterans Day 2025 is “Service to Our Nation.” This year’s program honors Pasquale “Patsy” Zagaria as guest. Mr. Zagaria served during the Korean War as a chaplain’s assistant, and is a lifelong Wakefield resident known to most as “pianist, band leader, and influential music teacher.”
This ceremony features live performances by the Wakefield Memorial High School Wind Ensemble, and Choral Group. The Performing Arts Department is widely recognized at the 2025 Best Communications for Music Education offering students a comprehensive music performance education through band, chorus, orchestra, and theater.
The public is invited to attend the Town of Wakefield Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the General Galvin Middle School Memorial Auditorium.
A collation, supported by local restaurants, will follow the program.
