The History Museum received new donations at Open House

WAKEFIELD — Turnout was high for the Wakefield Historical Society’s Museum Open House over the weekend. The Museum also received some nice donations for the collection. The Society received a donation of a beautiful framed map of the town dated 1878 and a chalkboard liner and a vintage leather doll which was promptly the subject of grave scrutiny by several of the little girls who visited. The next Open House will be on October 19 from 1 to 3 p.m.
