WAKEFIELD — On Monday, May 12 the Lenny Duggan Memorial Golf Tournament was held at Bear Hill Golf Club in Stoneham with proceeds to benefit St. Joseph School in Wakefield. A perfect spring day set the back drop for an exciting 18 hole scramble format. The field was full of long time friends of Lenny Duggan, St. Joseph School families, parishioners and community members. It was followed by an awards dinner where several generous sponsors were celebrated and thanked, especially The Shaw Family, Franks Auto, Sioban Murphy, Gregory’s Flower Shop & Garden Center, The Savings Bank, Rapid Liquors, Prince Pizza, Dicks Sporting Goods, Paradise Family Golf, Sun N Air Golf and many others. The winners of the tournament were Scott Jones, Scotty Jones, Brian Mason and Paul Arsenault. Longest Drive winners were Sean Coppinger and Courtney Capozzi. Closest to the pin winner was Ben Nakhoul. Thank you to everyone who made this event so memorable and successful! See you next year.
