The moon with the most

THE SUPER BLUE MOON arrived at perigee, closest to earth, just 221,942 miles away, at 9:36 last night and was captured above Lake Quannapowitt. In addition to being a “supermoon” this particular full moon is the second full moon to occur in the month of August, making it a “blue” moon. The next time this will happen is in the year 2037.
