WAKEFIELD — On Monday, February 12 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the Wakefield Human Rights Commission, with support from the town’s PTOs, will present “Understanding Our Differences” on Zoom.
Learn the importance of fostering open conversations about disabilities among young people and why encouraging greater understanding, respect and inclusivity makes a difference for all.
A detailed overview of the “Understanding Our Differences” approach, content and implementation will be shared with parents and caregivers, with time for questions and discussion.
The program complements the “Understanding Our Differences” program being presented at several Wakefield elementary schools.
This program is being presented by the Wakefield Human Rights Commission and Understanding Our Differences with the support of the Wakefield PTOs.
