NORTH READING — The Union Congregational Church, 148 Haverhill Street, is hosting a community Welcome Back Carnival filled with fun, laughter, and connection for all ages. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to join in the festivities as the church kicks off a new season together.
The carnival will take place on Sunday, September 7, at 11 a.m., immediately following the morning worship service. Activities will include lawn games, arts and crafts, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn, and more. Children can enjoy the excitement of a bounce house, while the whole community can take a shot at the popular “Dunk the Pastor” dunk tank.
This free event is open to everyone, whether longtime members, newcomers, or visitors simply looking for an afternoon of fun. It’s a chance to reconnect after the summer months, welcome new friends, and celebrate the joy of being together as a community.
