WAKEFIELD — Police said a 52-year-old woman from Wakefield was taken to Lahey Clinic in Burlington Sunday after being struck by an 88-year-old man from Lynnfield operating a 2008 Chevrolet Impala.
The victim was inside a crosswalk at the intersection of Main and Salem streets at 5:45 p.m. yesterday when she was hit.
