WAKEFIELD — The Town Council this week received an update on the status of funds that the town received under the COVID-era American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Wakefield received over $8 million in ARPA funds, all of which must be spent by Dec. 31 of this year.

Town wants to curb dog owners who flout law

WAKEFIELD – The town will be stepping up efforts to get dog owners to comply with regulations requiring the leashing of canines and picking up dog waste.
