WAKEFIELD — The Board of Selectmen this week renewed dozens of licenses of Wakefield establishments that sell food, alcohol, cars and other products and services.

The board renewed 65 common victualler licenses for restaurants ranging from full service restaurants to fast-food establishments including coffee shops and ice cream parlors.

A NARROW concrete divider installed at the head of Lake Quannapowitt will soon have deflectors, a requirement of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Cumberland Farms installed the divider, which has caused some confusion to drivers and pedestrians and on Friday an orange barrel was placed there by the Department of Public Works.
