Advocates lead up to seven

WAKEFIELD — In the 12th week of the Knights of Columbus bowling league’s second half season, Brian Brickley topped the league for the second straight week, this time with a 349.

THE WAKEFIELD Boys’ Sixth Grade Travel Basketball B team won it all in its age group after an impressive 53-35 win over Lexington in its final game. The team played great and it was one of the few games where every player put points up on the scoreboard. The WBA recently held the season ending "Super Sunday" on March 1. Congratulations to this season's teams champions. The players on the roster included Lydia Rascher, Meghan Guarino, Courtney Hill, Gabby Raffaele, Leah Devlin, Mary Callahan, Abby Chapman, Meghan DelGreco, Megan Horrigan, Julianne Bourque, Vanessa Kaddaras, Mikayla Fennelly, Caroline Sweeney, Brigid Scanlon, Meaghan Kerrigan, Emily Ryan, Olivia Cameron, Brooke Lilley, Gabrielle Nadolny, Jackie MacDonald, Sofia Barrett and Miriam Wood.
