WAKEFIELD — This Sunday, the community is invited to gather on Wakefield’s Town Common as Wakefield Police Detectives Chris Grace and John Ryan are honored by the Horses to Heroes Foundation, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit. The Foundation will also introduce a horse they have named “Wakefield Strong” which they will be donating to the Chicago Police

Town in line for $1.3M MWRA loan

WAKEFIELD — Wakefield will be receiving an interest-free loan from the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority in the amount of $1,356,000 for the replacement of water mains. The Town Council approved and signed the relevant documents and agreements this week.
